Novu's performance coaching is tech-powered and data-driven. It is delivered on the user's own device. Using conversational AI allows us to provide tailored support at a fraction of the cost of traditional methods. We also leverage the data users generate daily to make coaching more convenient and effective for them. Coaching won't be reactive or active anymore; we're making it proactive.

🤖 Second Founding Engineer (Gen AI + Backend)
We are looking for another Founding Engineer to accelerate our Generative AI and backend development. You’ll help design and build the core infrastructure that powers intelligent, evolving user interactions. You’ll work at the intersection of conversational design and backend architecture — enabling features like memory layers, data-driven personalization, and scalable APIs — all within a secure and high-performance backend environment.
This role is perfect for someone who’s excited about shaping a product from the ground up and working hands-on with both LLMs and backend systems. You’ll define and implement user profile structures, integrate memory layers, set up secure data storage and authentication, and build foundational pipelines for training and feedback. You’ll also have real influence over our tech stack and work closely with our iOS engineer and rest of the team to bring it all to life. If you’re curious about how AI can enhance human experiences and love building clean, thoughtful systems — we’d love to hear from you.
